Drive through the middle of the ball with the laces. Get your body over the ball but do not follow through planting the non kicking foot next to the ball. Extension is to try and loft the ball.

This passing practice involves just 3 cones set 5 yards away from a wall. A series of exercises involving passing and receiving off the wall around and between the cones. A quality first touch is needed to get across the cones and make sure you use both feet. Increase or decrease the distance of the cones from the wall to make it more or less difficult.

Long range Aerial Control, Cut and Pass Back

The exercise requires a partner. Ask your partner to send an aerial pass. Keep you eye on the ball at all times and keep moving your feet so your body is behind the ball. Get your foot under the ball, relax it and move slightly as contact is made to take the power out of the ball moving it into an open space. Cut the ball back and return the pass.
