Your playing partner sends you lofted ball. Receive on the chest and immediately drive into the middle of the pitch and pass to target. Ensure the chest control places the ball down in front of your feet to give you the best chance to explode away.
Ask your partner to throw the ball in the air towards you. Jump in the air meeting the ball at your highest point. Lean back in the air and drive your upper body forward to meet the ball. Send the ball high and far.
Ask you partner to send a lofted ball. Get your body behind the ball and jump in the air meeting the ball at your highest point. Lean back in the air and drive your upper body forward to meet the ball. Send the ball high and far and remember to always get off the ground and meet the ball in the air.
Ask your partner to send a lofted pass. Keep your eye on the ball at all times adjusting your feet to always be behind the ball. Get the inside of your foot under the ball, relax it and move slightly to take the power off the ball. Pass the ball with the inside of your foot. Alternate receiving and passing between both feet.
The exercise requires a partner. Ask your partner to send an aerial pass. Keep you eye on the ball at all times and keep moving your feet so your body is behind the ball. Get your foot under the ball, relax it and move slightly as contact is made to take the power out of the ball moving it into an open space. Cut the ball back and return the pass.
This passing practice involves just 3 cones set 5 yards away from a wall. A series of exercises involving passing and receiving off the wall around and between the cones. A quality first touch is needed to get across the cones and make sure you use both feet. Increase or decrease the distance of the cones from the wall to make it more or less difficult.
Work on your first touch by moving the ball and exploding performing various turns, big touches before shooting on goal. Repeat on weaker foot.
Step towards the ball as it comes towards you letting the ball run across your body. Unbalance the defender and explode away. Use your body to protect the ball and make the disguise as big a possible.
