With the ball in front of you at a slight angle, bring the furthest foot from the ball across the body. Pull the ball back, rotate and push the ball out with the inside of the same foot in a V shape. Key is the rotation of the hips and the ball should work in a “V” shape up the pitch.

Set up a square with 4 cones with a target defender in the middle. Then attack the defender from all angles of the square performing a Ronaldo step over. Fake to come in and then cut away from the defender. When running straight at the defender cut away at angles to wards the corners of the square.

Working a pair this practice focuses on 3 elements fro 1v1 domination. Place you partner in front of the center of the goal with your self further behind at an angle. Pass the ball to the partner and wait for the pass back. Take a positive touch towards the defender and drive at pace performing a double or single step over and exploding away firing a laces drive into the goal.

Maradonna and Ronaldo practice 1

A multiple outcome combination featuring 3 skills. Set up a rectangle with size cones and a defender in the middle. Play a 1-2 driven pass against the wall. Receive on the back foot, turn and drive at the far corner cone performing a Maradona. Next, drive at the opposite center cone and do another Maradona before driving to the top opposite cone. A final Maradona before performing a reverse Cruyff. You should be facing the defender and start driving towards performing a double Ronaldo exploding out and shooting on goal.

Cuts, Ronaldo, 1/2 and finish

Working in a pair set up a square with a defender in the middle away from the goal. Start at the base of the square closest to the goal. Receive a pass from the center pushing the ball towards the corner. Perform a sharp outside cut on the safe side. Drive towards the center defender and perform a Ronaldo to the top of the square. A sharp Cryuff to turn back towards goal doing a 1-2 with the your playing partner around the central defender. Finish first time.

A practice modelling the great work of Eden Hazard. Set out a 6 cone rectangle with a defender in the middle. Perform a 1-2 driven pass against the wall by the goal receiving on your back foot. Explode diagonally to the first cone and perform a double outside cut and start driving towards the opposite center cone. Repeat the double outside cut till the top cone after which do a Cruyff turn driving back towards the defender. A quick Ronaldo and shoot. Work off both feet

Zig zag practice double outside cuts

Set up 7 cones in a zig zag formation. Starting at the base, drive into the first cone and first outside cut to stop the ball. Very quickly touch again with the outside exploding to the next cone on the other side. Try to make the touch at least 1 metre and continue working up the zig zag.
